Use cases and tutorials
Overview
These tutorials walk through complete, real-world filter pages in the block editor. Each guide assumes you have installed and activated WPEnhanced Ajax Filter Blocks and are comfortable adding blocks to a page.
Every tutorial follows the same pattern:
- Add an Archive Loop block and configure the content query.
- Add a Filter Posts block with one or more Filter Posts Item child blocks.
- Link the filter panel to the loop and test AJAX updates on the front end.
Pick the scenario that matches your site, or read them in order to build confidence with the blocks.
Available tutorials
| Tutorial | Best for |
|---|---|
| Filter blog posts by category and tag | Blogs, magazines, and content hubs |
| Filter products by category | WooCommerce shop and category pages |
| Filter products by price range | Stores with budget-conscious shoppers |
| Filter products by keyword search | Catalog search combined with other filters |
Before you start
- Confirm your post type and taxonomies exist and contain published content. Empty taxonomies produce empty filter options.
- For WooCommerce tutorials, install and activate WooCommerce and add products with categories and prices.
- Use a staging or draft page while learning. Publish when filters and the loop behave as expected.
tip
If you are new to the plugin, complete the Quick start guide first. It covers the same blocks in a shorter walkthrough.
